Deer Run Down

On December 2, 2007 six miles south of Jamestown on US HWY 281 and four miles west on 42 St South a deer was chased down in a harvested soy bean field and run over with a vehicle. The investigation indicates the deer was chased about ½ mile across the field. Very distinct tire tracks…

Spearing Spiritwood

The only legal spearing lake in ND that did NOT open on Dec 1 was Spiritwood Lake north east of Jamestown. It opened Jan 1. By 3PM yesterday I had a report of a 38" pike that was speared.
