updated….trying to look on the positive

No, I’m not buying it…so far I’m not convinced there’s much good about beginning winter this soon. Maybe someone could introduce legislation?

where as winter shall not begin prior to January 1 of any said year?

how do you not vote for that? it’s an election year in ’08 this must move forward!

I’m trying to look for the positive in a winter that looks like it will last 6 months. So who likes this stuff beyond snow-mobilers and down-hill skiing? If you care email or post up what you like about winter that begins in November and runs until May.

My thought has always been this, if the first snow can wait til Dec. then we will have about 90 days of hard winter. By the time you get to March you can have temps in the 30′s, even 50′s. Sure, you can have some storms in March but at least you know they won’t stick around long.
